We are a small family run business who sell, buy, repair, convert, renovate, & service antique British Telephones. All these telephones have been carefully taken apart and then each individual component has been cleaned and restored. If required any worn or damaged cords have been replaced with high quality replicas as part of the renovation. All these telephones have been correctly converted for modern use. For example all the dials and bells have been carefully adjusted using the original GPO instructions. This means that these telephones will function correctly when plugged into modern telephone sockets. For more details please see our FAQ page. GPO Telephones for sale

These antique telephones were made in an age when the telephone was a thing of beauty and classic design. During this period the telephone was regarded as a status symbol, and an item of elegant luxury. Our telephones include 1940's art deco pyramid shaped 200 series telephones, and the classic 1950's 300 series black bakelite telephones that you often see in old films, or on TV in "Deal or no Deal".

The majority of these telephones were designed jointly by Ericsson Telephones Ltd and the British Post Office engineering department. Many people believe they represent a golden age of elegant telephone design.

These icons of British design are becoming increasingly hard to find and consequently we believe that these telephones represent a sound investment for the future. However many of our customers simply buy these telephones to obtain that "finishing touch" to a beautiful home.
